KNOWLEDGE Musona is set to complete his £1,3 million move to Hoffenheim on Thursday after Kaizer Chiefs called a press conference for lunch time.
The German club’s sporting director Ernst Tanner arrived in South Africa on Wednesday to complete the move.
The 21-year-old striker, who is also being courted by Scottish club, Celtic, has already agreed personal terms with Hoffenheim after travelling to Germany earlier this month.
Hoffenheim have been concerned about finding a place for the Zimbabwe striker in their squad.
Their efforts to sell the Ghanaian strike Prince Tagoe to make space for Musona have not yet been successful.
Tanner confirmed the club are working on two fronts to conclude in and outgoing deals.
"It is very likely Prince Tagoe will leave us before the end of the transfer window," he told Deutsche Presseagentur.
"We are still in talks with Musona and are attempting to find a solution.
"He is technically very good, quick, two-footed and integrated with the squad very well when he was on trial here.
"We know that Knowledge can sign more lucrative deals elsewhere, but Kaizer Chiefs

are keen to conclude a deal with us in the hope we can cooperate on further deals in the future."
Musona scored 15 goals in 28 matches for Chiefs last season.
