DYNAMOS received a huge boost Friday morning when Takesure Chinyama and Denver Mukamba turned up for training ahead of Sunday’s Caf Confederation Cup first leg last 16 match against Interclube of Angola at Rufaro.

Chinyama sealed a deal to join South African double treble winners Orlando Pirates on Tuesday and only arrived back in Zimbabwe on Thursday evening, a development coach Kalisto Pasuwa was not overly enthused about.

Mukamba had also left last Sunday on a desperate mission to get a deal but was unlucky at both Bloemfontein Celtic and Bidvest Wits. Sources though say he is heading back to Wits on Monday.

It is Chinyama however, and goalkeeper Washington Arubi who is sought by Pretoria University, that are likely to bid farewell to Dynamos fans on Sunday. Arubi has been offered a deal without going for trials.

Said Pasuwa at the club’s training session Friday: “I am happy the pair is back and that gives us options in attack and midfield. We also have players who have recovered from their injuries and others like Guthrie (Zhokinyi), who had been suspended, who are available for selection.

“We don’t know much about these guys but we are playing at home and we can only attack so that we get an advantage when we go for the return leg. We need to utilise home advantage.”

Captain George Magariro, Milton Makopa, Ocean Mushure have fully recovered from injuries while Zambian Arthur Kaseloki is also available.

Veteran Murape Murape has failed to recover from a thigh injury while Timire Mamvura and Devon Chafa are suspended for the match.

Dynamos dropped to the second tier CAF competition after losing out to reigning Champions League champions, Esperance of Tunisia.

Interclube reached the semi-finals of the same competition last year and were only denied playing in the final by a goal scored in the 7th minute of stoppage time by MAS of Morocco, who went on to win the Cup.

Having arrived in Harare on Thursday evening, the Angolans trained at Rufaro on Friday afternoon are due to a last workout at the same venue on Saturday.

Speaking to the media on arrival, Inter coach Pedroto said: ''I believe it is difficult for us because they are the champions. They have a very good team and we are aware of that.

“It’s a good game, I believe it will be a competitive game. But we will have something to say in this game. I believe our players are going to do something to win this game.

“I know it’s going to be difficult but we hope our players play with pressure and concentration. If they can do that, it will be enough for us to win this game.
