Dynamos 6-0 WWS Rangers

TAKESURE Chinyama scored a hat trick as Dynamos put half a dozen goals past relegation candidates WWS Rangers in a Castle Lager Premier League match at Rufaro on Sunday.

The striker, who is waiting to complete a move to South African champions Orlando Pirates, was on the target in the 26th, 55th and 90th minute.

Newboy Tawanda Mupasari had a dream debut netting just after two minutes before Rodreck Mutuma hit the back of the net three minutes after the breather.

Timire Mabvura was also on target in the 58th minute in a one side affair that saw Rangers end the match with 10 men after captain, Takesure Chiragwi, was shown a second yellow card five minutes from time.

The win will boost morale in the Dynamos camp ahead of Saturday’s Caf Confederation Cup second leg match against Inter Clube of Angola in Luanda.

The two teams drew 0-0 at home last weekend and a win or scoring draw will see them through to the group stages.
At Gwanzura, a six goal thriller was on offer as Monomotapa cancelled a 2-0 deficit to eventually win 4-2 over Hardbody.

Aleck Marime and Malvern Nyakabangwe gave Hardbody the lead before the breather, but took the foot off the pedal in the second half, allowing the 2008 league champions to score three goals in four minutes.

Hardbody could have scored more goals but failed to convert several chances which fell their way.

They were duly punished by a resurgent Monomotapa, courtesy of two-goals apiece from striker Tawanda Nyamandwe and Ronald Chitiyo.

Chitiyo reduced the arrears in the 70th minute before Tawanda Nyamandwe made it 2-2 sixty seconds later. Then Nyamandwe completed his double two minutes before Chitiyo made it 4-2 in the 79th minute.

Sunday Results: Highlanders 1-0 CAPS United, Buffaloes 1-1 FC Platonum, Shabanie 1-1 Harare City
