Antipas wary of struggling Highlanders in Sunday derby Big Sunday derby … Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas takes on Highlanders

CHICKEN Inn coach Joey Antipas says he respects Highlanders and is expecting a tough game when the two sides meet in a derby encounter at Barbourfields on Sunday.
Antipas is seeking to help his side maintain top spot where they are four points clear at the summit.
With Highlanders trailing by 15 points in a season in which they have been struggling especially at home, Antipas is not taking for granted his opponents.
“We are playing against giants and obviously it is not going to be three points on a silver platter. It’s a big game for us,” Antipas said.
“I respect Highlanders as a big club. They will not make it easy for us that is obvious. We just hope to do well and get the maximum points.
“This is a derby match and it can go either way. We are ready for this big game but I cannot guarantee any result.”
While Antipas has predicted a tough encounter, it could be a more difficult afternoon for Highlanders coach Bongani Mafu who has been given an ultimatum to win this game or get fired.
