ZIMBABWE international forward Khama Billiat’s stock continues to rise with reports that Italian giants Napoli are tracking him with a possibility of signing the Warriors star in the January transfer window.
Billiat, who is arguably the hottest property in the South African PSL at present, has also reportedly attracted interest from several other European clubs.
Belgian outfits, Club Brugge and KV Oostende, have been monitoring the player after his impressive performances under the mentorship of Pitso Mosimane at the Brazilians as well as with the Zimbabwean national team.
According to reports from South Africa, Italian Serie A side SCC Napoli, who have become one of the strongest sides in the league in recent seasons, are interested in the 26-year-old’s services.

The Italian club’s head of communications, Nicola Lombardo however declined to comment when contacted, but sources maintain that there is interest from Napoli.
The Zimbabwean international this year won the African Champions League with Mamelodi Sundowns, becoming the first Zimbabwean to win the prestigious tournament.
Billiat has also been shortlisted for the best player based in Africa award.
Sundowns have already turned down an offer of around €1.2 million (±R18.2m) from Egyptian giants, Al Ahly, as the club was looking for a figure close to €2.5 million (±R37.9m) at the time.
Now it remains to be seen whether the interested European outfits will be keen on meeting the Sundowns’ asking price for the Zimbabwean international come the January transfer window.Advertisement
