Caps face tricky Shabanie in Chibuku Super Cup quarter finals

PSL champions Caps United have been drawn to face tricky Shabanie Mine in the quarter finals of the Chibuku Super Cup.
The draw was conducted in Harare on Tuesday. Caps United midfielder Moses Muchenje, however, welcomed the draw.
“We welcome the draw,”Muchenje said.” It is not really about the opponents but about the desire, the hunger to win things. We are prepared for any one. We want the Chibuku Super Cup,” he added.
Caps United, in sixth place on the log and 14 points off the pace with only seven matches before the end of the campaign, are all but out of the championship race and the see the Chibuku Super Cup as the only silver ware they have a chance to lay hands on this term.
However, Shabanie have proved to be Caps United’s bogey side after the two teams drew in both league encounters this term.
In other matches, Chapungu have been paired against How Mine, while army side Black Rhinos were drawn to face Harare City.
Bulawayo City will take on Yadah FC.
The Chibuku Super Cup quarter finals have been slated for this weekend with the league programme suspended for a while.
The tournament, however, has lost its glamour after the big guns Dynamos, Highlanders, Ngezi Platinum and FC Platinum bombed out and no longer have interests in the last eight of the competition.
