CAPS United would be looking to plain a bumpy run on Sunday when they host How Mine at Rufaro Stadium in a league match.
The Harare giants suffered humiliation two weeks ago when they were demolished 6-0 by FC Platinum in the final of the ZNA Charity Shield at Mandava Stadiun.
They were then edged 1-0 by the same side and at the same venue, but this time in the Chibuku Super Cup quarterfinals.
Now left with the Mbada Diamonds Cup and league title to fight for, United will host How Mine keen to restore confidence in their side with a win.
“I think we have performed fairly so far in the league and we are not far from the leaders. We just have to stay focused in the remaining games,” assistant coach Mike Madzivanyika said.
“We are getting ready for How Mine and we have put behind us results of the past week. We have to move on and try to collect as many points as possible. We hope to do well on Sunday.”
How Mine on the other hand are just a rung above the relegation zone and they would be seeking to earn points to stay safe.
The Bulawayo side arrives in Harare wounded after being dumped out of the Chibuku Super Cup by Highlanders.
Caps are on fourth position on the log with as many points behind leaders Dynamos.
