Chicken In striker eyes golden boot

IN-FORM Chicken Inn striker Tendai Ndoro feels he could end the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season as the top goal scorer.
Ndoro has scored ten goals in 15 matches and is two goals clear of his closest challenger Osborne Mukuradare of Harare City.
Dynamos’ Washington Pkamisa, Bufaloes striker Steven Sibanda and last season’s top-marksman Nelson Mazivisa have seven goals each. But Ndoro believes he has set himself up for the golden boot award.
“My target is to finish the season at the top of the goalscorers chats. It is very much possible to do that but I need to work harder. I hope I would be able to reach that feat. I am enjoying the support of my teammates and if that continues, I will keep on scoring as many goals,” Ndoro said.
Ndoro recently got his first Warriors call-up and is expected to make his debut at the Cosafa Cup tournament slated for Zambia.
“Hard work pays for everything in life. I have every reason to be delighted at being called-up to the national team. I have been working really hard to get that all along. I want to score goals in national team colours just like I am doing at my club,” he said.
The 25-year-old has a twin brother Takudzwa who is a goalkeeper for Extension Gunners in Botswana.Advertisement
