FORMER Warriors and Dynamos coach Sunday Chidzambwa says he is happy with his new job at ZPC Kariba and is slowly settling at the club.
Chidzambwa started work at ZPC Kariba last week after being appointed the previous week.
He said he is impressed by the players and sees a lot of potential in them.
“Everything is good here because I am at a club that is so stable and with a lot of ambition. It is the kind of environment every coach would wish for,” Chidzambwa said.
“Everyone welcomed me well and a lot of people at the club are helping me settle down. I am happy with the way things are going on so far.
“The players are so keen to succeed and there is some good talent in the team. I see most of them achieving many good things in their careers of they continue working hard.”
Chidzambwa said he will make a few adjustments to the squad when the mid-season transfer window opens in July.
He added that he is not under pressure to land the league title this term after his predecessor Saul Chamunika lost the league race on the last day of last season.
“I am trying to introduce my philosophy in the team and the players seem so keen to learn,2 he said.
“I know it takes a bit of time for them to grasp my style of playing. I will add a few players when the transfer window opens but I am not stressing about winning the championship this season.”
Chidzambwa is Zimbabwe’s successful coach ever after storming into the Caf Champions League final with Dynamos in 1998 before guiding Zimbabwe to their first ever Afcon appearance at Tunisia 2004.
