KAISER Chiefs may have to break the bank to bring Zimbabwean international Knowledge Musona back to the Naturena in what will be the biggest transfer in South Africa.
According to reports from South Africa, Kaizer Chiefs have made their intentions clear in landing the Zimbabwean striker, from his German Bundesliga outfit, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, and have gone as far as keeping a foreign spot open in the team.
It was reported last week that an announcement by Chiefs was imminent regarding the future of the ‘Smiling Assassin’.
Chiefs Football Manager, Bobby Motaung, said the 24-year-old’s future has been asked about by many supporters adding the public would soon know what the status is regarding his potential move back to the club.
“I can tell you now that in the next few weeks we will be making an announcement about his next move. You should understand he is an international player and he needs the best for him. We will let you know,” he said at a Chiefs press conference.

The Zimbabwean has since left to link up with his parent club, Hoffenheim, after netting 16 goals for the Amakhosi last season.
It remains to be seen if Amakhosi will go all out in acquiring his services in what could be the biggest transfer in South African football.
Meanwhile the club Chiefs have announced the capture of Zimbabwean international forward Ovidy Karuru on a three year deal.
Karuru who has previously played for Belgian club OH Leuven has been on trials at Naturena and he has caught the eye of coach Stewart Baxter who has given the nod to have him signed on.Advertisement
