Chisora has Wladimir Klitschko in sight

DERECK Chisora has been told he is on the verge of a shot at the IBF world heavyweight title.
The Zimbabwe-born European champion is scheduled to defend his belt against Matteo Modugno at London’s Copper Box Arena on November 30.
If successful, he will face a final eliminator against the undefeated Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev for a shot at Wladimir Klitschko – at whom he once spat.
Chisora has fought for a world title before, having impressed many with a dogged performance in a unanimous decision defeat by Vitali Klitschko in February 2012 – the same night that he spat water in Wladimir’s face.
In the post-fight press conference, Chisora brawled with David Haye, but since a subsequent defeat by his British rival, he has rebuilt his career.
Promoter Frank Warren won purse bids for a Chisora-David Price fight.Advertisement
