Clinton Larsen on Kudakwashe Mahachi signing: It means the world

GOLDEN Arrows coach Clinton Larsen says he’s delighted after Kudakwashe Mahachi was signed permanently by the club.
Mahachi’s future had been up in the air following Mamelodi Sundowns’ lack of clarity on their player who has spent last season on loan in KwaZulu-Natal, yet the Zimbabwean put pen to paper with Abafana Bes’thende last week as he made the move to the coast permanent.
And Larsen says “it means the world” to have the talented player permanently in his club’s fold.
“It’s good to have him – he’s the one that I really wanted to come back,” Larsen tells KickOff.com.
“For me as the coach and having a player who wants to be at the club, it means the world. So I’m very happy to have a quality player like Mahachi and we are looking forward to having a good season with him.”
The 22-year-old scored three goals and provided four assists in 19 League appearances as Abafana Bes’thende finished ninth last season.
Arrows kick off their 2016/17 campaign away at Orlando Pirates on Wednesday, 24 August.Advertisement
