THE industrial index gained 4.47 points during the week to close at 169.37 points on Friday after recording gains in all trading sessions.
Support came mainly from upbeat trades in market movers Delta and Econet which gained 4,90 cents and 4,11 cents to 116 cents and 54,11 cents, comprising 80 percent of total trades.
The resources index added 0.90 points to 59.03 points, on the back of a 0,10 cents rise in Bindura to 5,10 cents.
Turnover for the week, at $8,1 million was 367 higher than the previous week.
In Friday’s trades, the industrial index rose by 0.42 points, boosted by heavyweight counters Delta and Econet.
The rest of the big caps remained unchanged, with low volumes being recorded in National Foods, SeedCo, OK Zimbabwe and Old Mutual.
The mining index was flat at 59.03 points for the third consecutive day, with minimal trades in Bindura and RioZim at previous trading levels of 5,10 cents and 15 cents.Advertisement
