Dynamos down but not out, insists Alimenda Plenty of games left before the season ends … Stephen Alimenda

DYNAMOS defensive midfielder Stephen Alimenda believes the champions are down but not out of the race for the championship.
Alimenda a key DeMbare midfielder missed the 0-0 draw to Harare City at Rufaro on Sunday which saw them trailing the log leaders Chicken Inn by six points.
He was serving suspension for accumulating three yellow cards in previous matches and without his power and influence in midfield Dynamos appeared to struggle for fluency.
And the industrious midfielder who will be available for the next match against Flame Lily said Monday that they still had a good chance of lifting the championship.
“We can’t be ruled out of the race simply because we drew against Harare City,” said Alimenda.
“There are still plenty of games left. It’s five games left, and, who knows what will happen. We have been in these situations before and we know it will be over on the last day.
“We will not throw in the towel. We will keep fighting until the last day.”
Dynamos’ title aspirations suffered a dent following their 0-0 draw against Harare City on Sunday – a result which left them six points off the pace with just five matches left in the campaign.
They had gone into the match under pressure to collect maximum points which could have seen them close in on leaders Chicken Inn and FC Platinum who won their respective matches on Saturday.
Chicken Inn came from a goal down to beat How Mine 2-1 and maintain top position with 52 points while FC Platinum remained on second position with 48 points after overcoming Wha Wha 3-0.
Dynamos remain on third position with 46 points.
They dominated game against Harare City but their forwards Rodreck Mutuma and Takesure Chinyama were guilty of missing several chances.
