Dynamos edge City 4-2 on penalties to reach Uhuru Cup final

DYNAMOS stormed into the final of the Independence Cup trophy after beating Harare City 4-2 on penalties in a pulsating semi-final tie at Rufaro on Sunday.
The match had ended goalless after 90 minutes of regulation time.
Cliff Sekete was the hero after scoring the winning penalty while Agustine Mbara, Ronald Chitiyo and Themba Ndlovu all converted their spot kicks.
Harare City midfielder James Jam failed to convert the team’s first spot kick.
But Chrispen Dickson converted his while Misheck Mburayi had his kick saved by goalkeeper George Chigova.
City Goalkeeper Maxwell Nyamupanedengu did not make a mistake as he converted his spot kick.
Dynamos will now meet FC Platinum who also edged Bulawayo giants Highlanders in another semi-final tie at Barbourfields Stadium.
