Dynamos in Harare City draw as Triangle checked No way past … Dynamos’ Ronald Chitiyo tries to evade two Harare City players

UNBEATEN Triangle came unstuck against struggling Flame Lilly but Dynamos failed to take full advantage of the table toppers’ stumble as they were held to a nil-all draw by Harare City in premiership games played Saturday.
The result in Harare and Triangle’s slip-up allowed Chicken Inn to assume top-spot after they beat Luke Masomere’s How Mine 1-0 at Luveve while Norma Mapeza’s troubles continued as FC Platinum lost 1-2 to WhaWha.
Dynamos and Triangle went into the weekend games tied at 13 points at the top of the league table but with Kelvin Kaindu’s unbeaten side boasting a better goal difference and the easier of the fixtures away to struggling Flame Lilly.
However, the defending champions failed to find the back of the net at Rufaro against City who had the better of the chances and will likely be more disappointed with the shared spoils.
Dynamos’ Ocean Mushure could have to put his side ahead on 15 minutes but his free kick missed Tafadzwa Dube’s goal.
City responded through Martin Vengesayi whose shot at goal was fortuitously cleared Sydney Linyama.
A minute into added time Tino Kadewere could have won it for City but his shot rolled across goal with Dynamos stopper, Artwell Mukandi, a beaten man.
Former Caps United striker Kevin Bulaji could have stolen victory for DeMbare in the 94th minute but contrived to shoot weakly at the City goal-keeper who was happy to save the effort and thus conclude the contest.
