DYNAMOS are now preparing for an immediate apt replacement of defender Partson Jaure who has left the club for South African side Pretoria University.
The central defence has been one of the richest positions at Dynamos, boasting able manpower that have covered up for their misfiring strike-force.
But Jaure’s departure has left coach Callisto Pasuwa currently with only Themba Ndlovu as a natural centre back and will for some weeks be partnered by part timer Augustine Mbara, with no direct replacement if one of them is injured.
The exit of Victor Kamhuka last month compounded the situation.
Dynamos are now praying for a quick return from injury of towering centre back Sydney Linyama who has however started light training.
Team manager Richard Chihoro promised that they will bring on board a player but could not reveal the name.
“Of course they would be someone we will be rope in to replace Partson. We are working on something. Get in touch with me tomorrow (Wednesday) morning and I will let you know on that development,” Chihoro said.
In the event they fail to get a replacement, Dynamos could reconvert Oscar Machapa to a centre-back, a position he sometimes was deployed in while at Caps United a few seasons ago.
