Dynamos to miss Alimenda

DYNAMOS defensive midfield rock Steven Alimenda will miss this first PSL game of the season on Sunday due to suspension when his side hosts Triangle at the National Sports Stadium.
Alimenda has this season been enjoying a rich vein of form and has so far featured in every minute of Dynamos’ league campaign.
His workmanship in the defensive midfield role has seen him accruing three yellow cards in nine matches against Bantu Rovers, Buffaloes and their last game against Chiredzi United.
But coach Callisto Pasuwa has always been spoilt for choice in that role with Devon Chafa, Walter Mukanga, Milton Makopa and part timer Thomas Magorimbo on standby.
The Harare giants have won their last two matches in a season they have already lost thrice and team manager Richard Chihoro wants to build on their recent pick of form.
“We know Triangle will not be easy for us because they are struggling. They are so keen to be on a safe position so it is tight for us. We would like to build on our last two wins. It is possible if we remain focused,” Chihoro said.
Dynamos welcome back from injury Oscar Machapa. Tawanda Muparati and Masimba Mambare are still out while Anesu Gondo is doubtful.
