FC Platinum defender Katebe returns to Zambia

FC Platinum defender Aaron Katebe has returned home to Zambia to join Zanaco for the 2016 Caf Confederation Cup.
Katebe has been on the books of Platinum for the last three seasons but was sold to Moroccan side Magreb Tetouan last June before he cut off his contract citing lack of payment of his salary and signing on fees.
He also claimed that FC Platinum had not been not been paid the transfer fee for his move to Morocco, believed to have been around $25 000.
Katebe joined Platinum from Hwange when then Zvishavane-based side brought in his fellow countryman Tennant Chilumba as their coach in 2012.
He was part of the club last eyr as they played in the Caf Confederation Cup where they reached the second round before they fell to Young Africans of Tanzania.
Zanaco will enter the Confederation Cup in the first round where they await the victor of the preliminary round clash between Harare City of Zimbabwe and AS Adema of Madagascar.
Zanaco will be away in the first leg during the weekend of March 11-13 before hosting their opponents on March 19 at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
