LEADERS FC Platinum maintained their unbeaten run in the league after forcing a 0-0 draw against How Mine in a Castle Lager Premiership tie at Luveve Stadium on Thursday.
The match was a balanced affair but How Mine will feel hard done by after the referee denied them what looked like a genuine goal.
FC Platinum however, defended resolutely towards the end to earn a crucial point which took their points tally to 20 three ahead of second placed Caps United who overcame Chicken Inn 2-1 at Luveve Stadium on Wednesday.
The result means Norman Mapeza’s FC Platinum remains unbeaten in the league since last year.
Mapeza however, remained humble even in his moment of triumph and played down his chances of winning his second league title he lifted it with Monomotapa in 2008.
“It was a tough match but am happy with the point gained. I have always said i am not thinking about the championship yet.
“We wiĺl continue to work hard and take it game by game. The future will take care of itself.”
