FC Platinum’s Mapeza keeping the faith

FC PLATINUM coach Norman Mapeza believes his side will rise following a bad start to their league campaign.
The platinum miners fell 2-1 away at debutants WhaWha last Saturday to record their fourth defeat of the season.
They are now just a rung above the relegation zone.
With pressure mounting on the former Galatasaray midfielder, FC Platinum have turned into a shadow of a squad that impressively started the year in the CAF Confederations Cup.
“I am worried results are not coming our way. We play very well and create chances but we fail to score,” Mapeza said.
“Matches are won by scoring but we are failing to do that. From the way we are playing I still have hope. I still believe we can recover from this bad spell.
“All we need to do is to keep on working hard. Things will be fine for us I believe.”
Mapeza is not new to such a losing run.
While in charge of Monomotapa in 2008, he lost the first five games but went on to win the league title.
