DYNAMOS’ Portuguese coach Paulo Silva and goalkeepers coach Gift Muzadzi met in Harare on Monday in a bid to resolve their differences.
The pair nearly came to blows in the dressing room before their friendly matches against ZRP FC and WhaWha at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.
Dynamos secretary Webster Chikengezha said he had told the coaches to resolve their differences and work together for the good of the club.
“I told the coaches to resolve their differences among themselves. I told them they should work together for the good of the team,” said Chikengezha.
Both coaches could not be reached for comment but it is understood that they reached common ground and Muzadzi, who could not watch the 4-0 defeat of Whawha in a friendly following the verbal spat with the Portuguese mentor, is now expected to take part in training on Tuesday.
The sharp differences between the two has been over the selection of goalkeepers. Both coaches are former goalkeepers.
Dynamos are scheduled to make the trip to Malawi on March 3, where they are set to play friendly matches as part of their pre-season preparations.
After the Malawi trip, they will also travel to Tanzania for another international friendly match, as they ready for the league marathon.Advertisement
