FRUSTRATED former Dynamos goalkeeper George Chigova has found a new home after completing his move from SuperSport United to join Polokwane City on a three year deal.
Speaking from South Africa Wednesday, Chigova said he has been struggling for game time and was looking for a new club.
He said what he wanted was game time and did not mind which club he was playing for.
“I said it before that I don’t mind where I would be playing as long as I can get game-time.  I am happy to join Polokwane City.
“I wanted game-time and I believe this move will give me a chance to show my true potential.”
The player’s agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, told Kick that Chigova has penned a three-year contract with City.
“Polokwane City have been looking for a goalkeeper and when the opportunity availed itself couldn’t resist to sign,” he said.
“He (George) is a goalkeeper of high quality and an international. I have no doubt he will add value to the club.”
Chigova is determined to prove his worth for Kosta Papic’s side.
He provided cover to Ronwen Williams at SuperSport following his arrival from Harare-based Dynamos in February 2014.
Chigova joined SuperSport from Dynamos after impressing for the Warriors during the CHAN 2014 tournament but has struggled to get a start at the South African side.Advertisement
