Glen View couple found dead in bedroom after marital dispute

A HARARE couple was found dead in their bedroom in Glen View 3, Wednesday following a reported marital dispute, police have said.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) identified the deceased as Nyasha Mhungu (35) and his wife, Olga Muzhingi (30).

In a statement, police said investigations were underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

“The ZRP is investigating the circumstances in which a couple, Nyasha Mhungu (35) and his wife, Olga Muzhingi (30) were found dead in a bedroom at a house in Glen View 3, Harare after a marital dispute on 23rd September 2026,” police said.

The deaths come two weeks after another Harare couple, ZHRC commissioner Martin Muduva and his wife, Lyliosa Chirara, died following a domestic dispute at their Dzivarasekwa Extension home.

Police said the couple had reportedly argued over alleged infidelity, with Muduva later dying from head injuries and Chirara from suspected rat-poison ingestion.
