IT’S show time again as the 2015 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season kicks off with big spenders Harare City getting their campaign rolling with a clash against Premiership newcomers Tsholotsho FC in a season opener at Rufaro on Friday.
The Sunshine Boys have undergone a revolution with changes in the coaching as well playing personnel ahead of the new term.
Taurai Mangwiro is now at the helm after quitting Caps United last season despite having led them to a credible third place in the title race.
He joined City with his lieutenants Mike Madzivanyika and goalkeeper’s coach Richard Tswatswa.
Now Mangwiro faces Tsholotsho hoping to get maximum points in his first game in charge.
The team which now also has former Caps United players, goalkeeper Tafadzwa Dube, Nicholas Alifandika, Tendai Samanja and Honey Chimutimunzeve on  their books has been camped in Nyanga during their pre-season preparations.
The Sunshine City Boys also boasts experienced stars including former Kaizer Chiefs defender Lincoln Zvasiya and are dark horses in this title race.
However, Mangwiro refuses to be carried away
“It will not be as easy as people might think. This will be our first game, we are going there with a positive mind-set but it will be foolish to underestimate Tsholotsho,” said Mangwiro.
In another match champions Dynamos take on Buffaloes at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
