HARARE City coach Taurai Mangwiro has expressed readiness for AS Adema of Madagascar whom they meet in a Caf Confederation Cup, preliminary round, and first leg match at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.
City will be plunging in their debut inter-club competition and hope to kick-off their campaign with a win.
Mangwiro is expected to unleash new signings Ronald Chitiyo, Edwin Madhanganga, Jimmy Tigere and Blessing Moyo.
“Our preparations for this match have been going on very well. It is good for us the guys who came from Chan are all fit so we have nothing much to worry about,” Mangwiro said.
“I do not know much about our opponents. I just have little information on them and I will try to use that to our advantage. We are ready for the two legs against them.
“We are looking for a win so that we finish them off when we go to them. That does not mean we are underrating them though. We respect them.”
William Manondo was one of the Warriors stand-out performers at Chan tournament will be carrying most goal hopes for City together with Francisco Zekumbawire.
City played friendly matches against the Warriors, Chapungu, Chicken Inn and Bulawayo City in preparing for AS Adema.
