Highlanders busiest in transfer window

MID-SEASON transfer activity closed late Wednesday with most clubs active on the market.
Highlanders were the biggest shoppers, bringing in six players while Chiredzi United were the biggest losers as well as cash-strapped Shabanie Mine also experiencing a mass player exodus although coach, John Phiri, managed to plug the holes leafy.

“We are not worried much by the players who left us because we have replaced them with equally good guys. It is game on. We will keep on fighting,” Phiri said.
Defending champions Dynamos have added Congolese midfielder Fabrice Mbimba, returnee Roderick Mutuma, defender Elisha Murkiest is coming in from Division One while Abel Gwatidzo has returned from a loan stint at Chiredzi.
Caps United have roped in Malawian international defender George Nyirenda together with Kelvin Bulaji.
They raided the Black Mambas camp for Honey Chimutimunzeve and Nicholas Alifandika. Unbeaten ZPC Karina signed Elvis Meleka from Botswana giants Mochudi Center Chiefs as well as Phillip Nelson from Chiredzi.
They however, lost Caleb Masocha to How Mine who let forward Benjamin Marere return to FC Platinum.
