Highlanders 1-1 FC Platinum
Dynamos 1-0 Triangle
HIGHLANDERS drew their fifth match of the season against FC Platinum on Sunday but still maintained top spot in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
The Bulawayo giants now have 20 points while defending champions Dynamos, who beat Triangle 1-0, are now third with 19 points.
Hwange are second with 19 points, but have a better goal difference than Dynamos after their 1-1 draw against Chiredzi on Saturday.
Allen Gahadzikwa teed up Donald Ngoma for the opener in the 26th minute at Barbourfields for the former Warriors striker to beat an outdrawn Arial Sibanda in goal for Highlanders.
Gahadzikwa though seemed to have received the ball in an offside position when he set up Ngoma and Bosso coach Kelvin Kaindu pointed out that at the end of the match.
“From where I was, it seemed an offside, but well the referee had the better view,” the Zambian coach said.
