HIGHLANDERS will be without head coach Kelvin Kaindu and injured forward Milton Ncube when they host Caps United at Barbourfields on Sunday.
Kaindu is in the UK graduating after completing his Uefa B coaching badge while Ncube has failed to recover on time for the match.
Kaindu’s assistant Mark Mathe will be in charge of the team.
“We drew with Chicken Inn so we have to recover the two points we lost in that match. The boys know this is a must-win. A lot is at stake here,” Mathe said.
“We are in good shape and we hope everything will go well. Caps are a good side and we failed to beat them last season.
“But this is a new game altogether and we can win. We are at home and I am sure that will work to our advantage.”
Highlanders are yet to be beaten this season but have failed to win at Barbourfields twice so far.
Caps United arrive in Bulawayo on the backdrop of last Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Triangle which could boost them ahead of this match.
The last time Highlanders beat Caps United was two seasons ago when they completed a double over the Harare giants.
