CAPS United left-back Ronald Pfumbidzai returned to Harare on Tuesday morning after failing to land a last-minute deal with South Africa Absa Premiership leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
Pfumbidzai was on a ten-day trial, but the SA mid-season transfer window closed on Friday with no deal for the Zimbabwean.
His club though is making plans for his return to Chiefs for further assessments when the season ends. A European jaunt in Belgium is also on the cards.
Only three Zimbabweans made moves in the window with former Buymore and Black Leopards striker Kingston Nkhatha moving from Chiefs to SuperSport United on a three and half year deal.
