KAIZER Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande has praised to coach Stuart Baxter for improving his game.
The Zimbabwe international cleaned up at Chief’s end-of-the-season awards held in Midrand Wednesday night, winning the Online Player, Fan Player, Players’ Player and Player of the Season awards.
For the efforts, he walked away with R230,000 (US$22,300) in prize-money and a brand new Nissan 370Z.
“I just want to thank him [Baxter]; he helped me a lot,” Katsande said. “He used to sit with me after the game and show me where to improve and to read the game better.
“He helped me a lot since day one he arrived at Chiefs; even now before we closed we had a chat about the aspect of the game I need to improve.
