KWAITO lovers in Bulawayo will roll back the years when South Africa based dee jay Oscar ‘Oskido’ Mdlongwa leads an impressive line-up of Kwaito legends to the city for the annual Kalawa Jazzmee Homecoming Party.
The show which has become a permanent fixture in the city’s entertainment calendar, is back again, and promises to be the biggest show in the city for this year. 
Come 27 December, Queens Sport Club is expected to reverberate to the sound of the unmistakable kwaito beat that dominated the airwaves both in Zimbabwe and South Africa for the past two decades. 
The show will be a special one for Oskido and his formidable crew, who celebrate 20 years of the music movement which locates its humble beginnings to South Africa’s attainment of independence in 1994. 
The theme of the show is “20 years of Kwaito Celebration”.
