Mahachi taunts ‘not so good’ Chitiyo Silverware … Dynamos players and officials celebrate Bob Super Cup win on Sunday

MAMELODI Sundowns on-loan winger to Highlanders Kuda Mahachi has taunted Dynamos star midfielder Ronald Chitiyo as being far below his level.
Chitiyo stole the limelight in Sunday with a silky display that was capped by a beautiful goal to help Dynamos defend the Bob Super Cup.
All eyes were on the duo with Mahachi being tipped to shine following a scintillating outing at the Chan tournament earlier this year.
But Chitiyo’s performance condemned Mahachi into the shadows.
“I will never agree that he plays better than me. If Chitiyo was better, then he would have secured a foreign move like me,” Mahachi said.
He however admitted that his performance was below par on Sunday.
“I know I did not play well and maybe it is the strategy that we used. This was my first game against Dynamos since I arrived at Highlanders but I am looking forward to the new season.
“There are many games to play and I will correct where I would have gone wrong against Dynamos.”
Mahachi is likely to face Dynamos only once more when Highlanders visit the Harare giants in the 12th round of the PSL season.
He is due to miss the second half of the season as he would have teamed up with his new Mamelodi Sundowns teammates.
