HARARE City are set to announce a new technical team this week with former CAPS United coach Taurai Mangwiro tipped to take over as head coach from interim boss Masimba Dinyero.
Mangwiro quit the Green Machine last week and said Tuesday that he was in talks with Harare City but had not signed a contract.
“I have not signed a contract yet but we are talking about it. Once there is something concrete, I will let you know,” said Mangwiro.
A statement from the club read: “Harare City to unveil new Technical Team at a press conference this coming Wednesday in preparation of the 2015 season.”
However, former Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu who helped Triangle survive relegation is also tipped for the city job.
Harare City had a challenging 2014 campaign and just managed to survive relegation after defeating Chicken Inn 1-0 on the final day of the league programme.
They were reportedly also interested in outgoing Dynamos head coach Callisto Pasuwa but seem to have opted for Mangwiro instead.
Mangwiro had also been linked to his former club Dynamos.
