Mapeza challenges Platinum players

FC PLATINUM coach Norman Mapeza has conceded there is still a lot of work that needs to be done in his side following Wednesday’s 2-0 loss away at Triangle.
Second half goals from Praise Tonha and Tatenda Tsuro condemned the platinum miners to a second consecutive defeat.
It was also Mapeza’s second loss since taking over from Lloyd Mutasa last month.
“We did not have a good game as we would have wanted. We only improved in the last 15 minutes of the game,” Mapeza said.
“Losing to matches in a row is not acceptable. This shows there is still a lot of hard work that still needs to be done. We need to go back and start working hard for the next matches.”
The last 15 minutes that FC Platinum could have come back can be attributed to the introduction of speedy Zambian forward Obrey Chirwa who came in for Donald Ngoma.
Chirwa has been introduced late in most matches to run at tired defenders and this game plan has often worked.
