Mapeza diplomatic about FC Platinum’s title hopes

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza is coy about his team’s PSL title chances despite spending several weeks on top of the standings.
The platinum miners beat How Mine last Saturday to maintain their one-point lead over second-placed Caps United.
Three draws in their last five games have failed to dislodge FC Platinum, from the summit but have only narrowed their lead.
The season is now left with seven games before its conclusion and 21 points are now at stake.
“There is nothing much to say about the league title at the moment. We just leave everything to God and see what happens,” Mapeza said.
“He is the one who knows our destiny so we leave everything in his hands. I am just delighted that we are picking some points and avoiding defeats. We will just try to do our best in the remaining games. I just pray that we have a fruitful season.”
FC Platinum are chasing their first ever league title since their first ever top-flight football dance in 2011.
In their maiden season, they came close to winning it before being snooped by Dynamos with two games to go when they seemed almost certain to win it.
