Dubbed “Danger Zone Tour” the tour is meant to promote Mukanya’s latest album which is set to be launched on February 17 in Harare.
In a video posted on his official Facebook page, the dreadlocked musician announced that he will be touring the Southern African country.

In an interview with, Mapfumo’s spokesperson Blessing Vava, confirmed the tour.
Quizzed on whether Mapfumo had made arrangements to visit the country he turned his back on, years ago choosing to go on self-exile in the US, Vava said arrangements were being made.
“We are making plans but we can’t announce yet. As soon as everything is in place we will make the announcement,” he said.
At the Harare launch a host of local musicians who include Jah Prayzah, Victor Kunonga, Ba Shupi and Claire Nyakujara among others, have been lined up to perform at a tribute concert in honour of the Chimurenga icon.
Danger Zone is Mapfumo’s first musical project since the release of Exile in 2010.
Some of the songs on the new album include Hatidi Politics, Nhamo Urombo, Chikwereti and Pasi Idandaro.Advertisement
