SOUTH African premiership side Maritzburg United have their sights on Zimbabwean midfielder, Silas Songani, with a view to strengthen the team in the next transfer window in January.
The highly-rated player spent the week in KZN, having trials with United under the watchful eye of Clinton Larsen.
The player’s Zimbabwe-based representative, Gibson Mahachi, confirmed that Songani is on the radar of the Pietermaritzburg-based outfit.
“Yeah, he was there, I sent him to Maritzburg United. He was there for a week. The boy did very well,” said Mahachi.
Songani is on the books of Harare City.
