WE recently ran a story titled: Harare Woman appears in court over US$132k property fraud.

It has come to our attention that the woman in question, Tsitsi Veronica Chitagu, was not really involved in the fraudulent property deal, but another person.

It also emerged that the confusion arose from a poor pagination which saw papers belonging to another person being joined to her own separate case which is before the courts.

We unreservedly apologise for any inconveniences caused and retract the story, which we have also pulled off site.
