Harare City 2-1 Triangle
A JAMES Jam double in the second half saved his coach Bigboy Mawiwi from dismissal as Harare City beat Triangle 2-1 at Rufaro on Friday.
Mawiwi had been given a one game ultimatum after six consecutive losses that left City at the bottom of the log.
Despite Friday’s win, they still remain at the bottom of the league table as Chiredzi has four points.
Triangle took the lead after 26 minutes through Blessing Mazivisa.
But City came back a better side in the second half when Jam drew level seven minutes after the restart.
Jam then ensured City of their first set of full points in the 84th minute to leave Mawiwi hugely relieved.
While it was joy for Mawiwi, it was misery for Biggie Zuze who suffered a third defeat in a row to leave Triangle in 14th place.
