More injury worries for Highlanders

HIGHLANDERS’ woes on the right-back position have been worsened with the unavailability of Erick Mudzingwa who is suspended for the PSL clash with How Mine at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Mudzingwa has picked three yellow cards that have thrown him on the sidelines.
Sunday’s Bulawayo derby could go either way as both teams have shown intent of lifting the PSL title.
One of the positions in which Highlanders have been found wanting this season is the right-back slot where Mudzingwa is employed as a part-time full-back. Simon Munawa is likely to be deployed in that position by coach Kelvin Kaindu on Sunday.
Mudzingwa is one of the three suspended players going into Week 14 of the premiership marathon together with Brian Juru of Chicken Inn and Charles Makoto of Triangle.
Highlanders have been seeking solutions at right-back where Mudzingwa has been struggling to aptly fit.
Kaindu’s side is already depleted following the departure of Kuda Mahachi to Mamelodi Sundowns who could lose him to French giants Monaco.
Highlanders have also lost Peter Moyo and Milton Ncube who left for South African sides Mpumalanga Black Aces and Ajax Cape Town respectively.
Left-back Khumbulani Banda could also be the latest exit since he is having auditions at Maritzburg United.
