PEOPLE’S Rainbow Coalition (PRC) presidential candidate Joice Mujuru will on Sunday hold her first ever rally in Victoria Falls as an opposition leader.

Mujuru who suspended rallies before the siting of the nomination court is the second opposition leader to invade Victoria Falls as a new hunting ground, following MDC Alliance’s Nelson Chamisa rally at the same venue, Chinotimba Stadium, last Sunday.

Mujuru’s campaign team has been on a door to door mobilisation drive inviting Victoria Falls residents to the rally.

“People should come and listen to the first woman to ever challenge Zanu PF,” said a member of the campaign team.

She praised the former vice president who’s also National People’s Party (NPP) president for being brave.

Mujuru recently said she will win the July 30 election and make history by becoming the country’s first female president.

She is one of the 23 candidates who will be contesting the elections.

Christopher Ndiweni, a feared former Zanu PF member in Victoria Falls is the coalition’s candidate for Hwange West Constituency.

PRC is one of the election coalitions formed by the opposition parties in a bid to wrestle power from Zanu PF in this year’s watershed elections.

Other political parties in the coalition include Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , Zimbabwe United for Democracy (Zunde), Democratic Assembly for Restoration and Empowerment (DARE) and the Zimbabwe Economic Freedom Fighters (ZEFF).
