STRIKER Roderick Mutuma says it was not a difficult decision to make in dumping Dynamos to join arch-rivals Caps United.
The lanky forward was on Monday unveiled as United’s latest signing after talks to renew his Dynamos contract hit a brick-wall last week.
He had been training with Dynamos only until last week before penning a new two-year deal across the floor.
“I know Caps are Dynamos’ biggest enemy but I have always loved them so I did not have to crack my head to come here,” said the striker.
“They have given me a home and I do not regret coming here. I was hoping to play for Dynamos this season but they could not satisfy my needs. I had to play football so I had to move.”
Mutuma’s first competitive assignment at his new home would be this weekend’s Sino-Zim Cement challenge match against Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium.
“I will not read much that I am a former Dynamos player. It does not matter anymore and life has to go on. Caps have employed me to score goals so I will try to do that,” he said.
At Caps, he signed a two-year contract with an option of extending for one more season.Advertisement
