ZIMBABWE international Nyasha Mushekwi, who is currently on the books of South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, is in Sweden to explore his options for a potential move abroad.
The Warriors striker has been in the football wilderness since returning to Mamelodi Sundowns from a loan stint at KV Oostende in Belgium last year.
Mushekwi spent time on the side-lines at Sundowns as he struggled with an injury on his return to the club.
The 27-year-old is one of the Sundowns’ players that have been training separately from the rest of the first team at the Chloorkop outfit.
According to reports from South Africa, Mushekwi jetted off to Sweden in search of possible move to Djurgardens IF at the weekend.
He has already started training with the side with the possibility a loan deal may be reached between the parties.
Djurgardens is also the same side that had Xolani Mdaki on loan from Sundowns last year.Advertisement
