Pasuwa not giving up on title

DYNAMOS coach Callisto Pasuwa says they value the point earned from their 2-2 draw at Chicken Inn on Sunday.
The Harare giants suffered a setback in their title defence campaign after being held by Chicken Inn, and failed to take advantage of Highlanders fall to leaders Harare City.
A win for Dynamos would have seen them reclaiming leadership with 53 points, the same tally as City but with a superior goal difference.
Now they are at second place and two points adrift of City.
With a game to go before the curtain comes down on the season, Pasuwa is refusing to throw in the towel and wants to win their last game against relegation haunted Black Mambas at home.
“We really needed the three points from Chicken Inn but that could not happen and it had negative impact in our title match. We just have to be content with the point we earned because it is better than nothing,” Pasuwa said.
“Now we just have to win our last game. We know we now have to depend on other teams’ results but we will not forget that we have a job to do.”
The defending champions had to come back from a 2-0 deficit to scrap a draw from Chicken Inn.
Their last match against Black Mambas could prove tricky as Mambas are fighting relegation.
