STRIKING junior doctors picketed Parirenyatwa hospital in Harare last Friday as they continue their demands for better working conditions.

Dozens of the striking doctors joined the demonstration at the country’s main referral hospital wielding placards expressing their grievances and singing protest songs.

The government has rejected outright payment of salaries in US dollars which is one of the main demands raised by the junior doctors.
