CONTINENTAL hip-hop heavyweight Cassper Nyovest and club banger Prince Kaybee are set to share a stage with some of Zimbabwean finest artists in Harare next month.
The highly-rated Nyovest who made waves in Harare and Bulawayo last year is making a comeback for what has been dubbed “The Biggest Music Showcase in 2018” at Glamis Arena September 22.
South Africans Nyovest and Kaybee will be in the country courtesy of Events Evolution Zimbabwe who are promoting the gig.
Local artists expected to join them on the stage include Jah Signal, Ex Q, Takura, Freeman, with top DJs such as Reverb and Chucknosis on the turntables.
Promoters spokesperson Fungai ‘Kush’ Zvirawa told NewZimbabwe.com that they were excited to be hosting the event.
“We are not specifically saying ‘featuring Cassper’ because they should be on the same level with our local talent such as Jah Signal, Ex Q, Takura and others.
“We also have amazing DJs, such as Reverb and Chucknosis. These guys are good; that’s why we have put them on the line up,” Zvirawa said.
The company is also using the event to showcase and launch their newly acquired and state-of-the-art events hiring gear which they insist is up to international standards.
Zvirawa added; “We are excited about including our local artists on this massive stage.
“For those who missed the Jabula conference, now this your chance to witness our massive stage. We are very excited it’s going to be an amazing show.”
