TENDAI Ndoro, one of the Zimbabwean marks man plying his trade in South Africa is likely to continue playing for the Mpumalanga Black Aces this coming season, it has emerged.
Mpumalanga Black Aces media liaison officer, Gordon Masondo recently told that the player was still in their plans adding no deal had been reached with rival clubs linked with the striker.
“Tendai is still with us and going nowhere for now. He is in camp with the team as we speak,” said Masondo.
Orlando Pirates were reportedly interested in the player along with the English Premier League side, Crystal Palace.
Regarding the purported interest from the premiership, Masondo said: “Some people were just lying to the nation.
“As you know those countries are specific on the number of games played by the player and Tendai has seven caps. He still has one and half season with us. He is a prolific striker and he will score more goals for us this coming season.”
Tendai’s agent Karabo Mathang also confirmed that the player was still with Amazayoni.
“Things are uncertain at this stage but the player is training with Mpumalanga Black Aces. My understanding is that he is still with them,” he said.
The player could not comment much about his move referring questions to his agent.
“For now I am concentrating on playing soccer,” he said.
“I am dreaming of playing in Europe; it could be this year, next year or some other time but it will happen. With patience, discipline and good work I will get there.
“I expect to score more goals. I was helped by my supporting team mates to score those goals last season.”
Ndoro has scored 16 goals in league games since joining the team from Bulawayo based Chicken Inn in January 2014.Advertisement
