HARARE City captain, Themba Ndlovu, says their Caf Confederations Cup opponents, AS Adema, are still chasing the game despite scoring two crucial away goals.
The return leg has been set for Sunday.
The Sunshine City Boys defender, speaking before their departure to Madagascar on Monday, said they also needed to score more goals away to progress to the first round where Zambia giants Zanaco are waiting in ambush.
“They (AS Adema) are still chasing the game despite that they scored two away goals. That gives us confidence and we only need to go there and try to score two goals away as they did here. We will be going out for an out-right win,” said Ndlovu.
AS Adema were defeated 3-2 in the first leg in Harare.
Harare City spent the week trying to improve on converting chances.
The Sunshine Boys believe they will be at home playing at an artificial surface as they are used to such a surface at Rufaro, which is their home ground.
AS Adema’s home stadium in Antananarivo is undergoing refurbishments. The Sunshine Boys flew to Johannesburg Tuesday where they were set to connect another flight to Antananarivo.
They were scheduled to board a chartered flight from Antananarivo to the coastal city of Mahajanga.
