South Africa’s Desmond Tutu admitted in hospital

JOHANNESBURG – Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has been admitted to a Cape Town hospital for a series of tests.

“The Archbishop was in good spirits after settling into his ward. He hopes to be back home in a few days,” his family said in a statement.

He turns 87-years-old in 10 days time.

The 86-year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate has been battling with prostate cancer for the past 15 years.
